About the Role
As a VC Analyst (Growth), you will play a pivotal role in identifying top-tier founders and helping them succeed. This role combines deal sourcing, startup advisory, and hands-on mentorship and may be filled by a part-time or full-time team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Scouting: Identify high-potential startups across Latam and evaluate their growth potential.
- Founder Engagement: Build relationships with startup founders, inviting them to participate in Powertrain’s programs.
- Advisory Support: Assist startups with go-to-market strategies, fundraising readiness, and scaling operations.
- Deal Flow Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of startup prospects and ensure efficient evaluation processes.
- Program Facilitation: Support the execution of the Ignition program, from workshops to demo days.
- Networking: Leverage Powertrain’s ecosystem to connect founders with advisors, mentors, and industry experts.
What You Bring
- Experience: 1-3 years in venture capital, startup operations, or entrepreneurial ecosystems. Experience in Latam markets is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in analyzing business models, market research, and fostering founder relationships.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
