Web Developer

Monterrey, NL, Mexico –  Full-time – Hybrid (On-site / Remote)

We are a startup studio and accelerator looking for a Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you’ll be responsible for working on software projects for our portfolio companies, collaborating with our team to understand the needs of our startups and use your technical expertise to help bring their ideas to life.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications using WordPress, NextCloud and other low code/no code platforms
• Maintain and enhance our cloud-hosted APIs, ensuring their availability, performance and scalability
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure code quality and functionality
• Contribute to the design and development of new products
• Backend application development using JavaScript and Node.js

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong foundation in computer science concepts and proficiency in at least one programming language
• Experience developing with no-code solutions like WordPress and Zapier
• Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience using backend application development
• Interested in startups, innovations and all things digital
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Good team worker
